Education Department Work Experience
The Education Department offers up to six internships a year, between the periods listed below:
January – April (Applications due by 1 November)
May – August (Applications due by 1 March)
September – December (Applications due by 1 July)
Interns undertake a range of tasks and are vital to the smooth running of the Department.

The Communications Department offers three month internship focusing on press and PR throughout the year. Applications are received on a rolling basis.
The Exhibitions Department offers up to four internships for 2015 between the following periods:
January – April (Applications due by 1 December)
May – July (Applications due by 1 April)
August – October (Applications due by 1 July)
November – January (Applications due by 1 October)
2-3 days a week; 10am to 4pm; for 3 months plus additional commitment during exhibition changeover periods
The Development Department offers a 3 - 6 month internship throughout the year.
You will work alongside the Curatorial Collections Manager, Assistant Curator and the Curatorial Fellow to assist with the care and administration of the collection.
Work Experience for Secondary School students
Work experience placements for secondary school students offer young people the opportunity to develop a range of skills that contribute to their future employability. Students assist in the Art Room and help teachers and artists with their workshops.
