“The Education Programme at the world-renowned Dulwich Picture Gallery is a perfect embodiment of how access and excellence in the arts can go hand in hand and has set the standard for others to follow. This is about opening up the best things in life to as many people as possible”

The Sackler Centre for Arts Education

The Sackler Centre for Arts Education opened in May 2000 as the keystone to an ambitious initiative to improve the accessibility and facilities at Dulwich Picture Gallery. The Centre enables the Education Department to provide a remarkable range of both innovative and traditional creative activities to an ever growing number of people. The range of practical programmes on offer at DPG is unequalled anywhere in the UK and with thanks to the establishment of the SCAE, the Gallery continues to reach new audiences.
