Landscape with Cattle

Cleaning (presumably that of 1949-55) revealed two cows between that in the centre and the dog on the right. These are severely abraded and had previously been repainted (possibly by Bourgeois) with a continuation of the landscape. A figure in the landscape on the right has also been painted out. A signed version is in the St„dtische Kunst- und Gem„ldesammlung, Bamberg.
