MISSION STATEMENT

To foster relationships and cultural exchange between Dulwich Picture Gallery and its many supporters in the USA both individual and corporate. To secure the Gallery’s future success with funding for capital development, the exhibition programme and education.

KEY AREAS OF SUPPORT

Dulwich Picture Gallery is an independent charitable trust, receiving no government funding. The American Friends of Dulwich Picture Gallery welcomes gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations who wish to support the institution in these key areas:

Capital Development and Endowment
The Gallery seeks to increase its endowment to maintain and develop the fabric, collection and operation of the Gallery over time.

Exhibitions
The Gallery has an ambitious programme of exhibitions. This includes a commitment to introducing American art to a wider audience.

Education
The Gallery’s education department has been a leader in its field for over twenty years and champions universal accessibility and outreach.

JOIN THE AMERICAN FRIENDS

The American Friends of Dulwich Picture Gallery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation. As a donor, you will be eligible for a tax deduction.

There are three levels of support: Gainsborough Circle ($450 per annum), Rembrandt Circle ($1,000 per annum), and Founding Benefactor ($10,000).


GAINSBOROUGH CIRCLE 
• All the benefits of 1811 Club membership;
(VIP tours with the curator and reception with the Director for three exhibitions each year and two special "after hours" visits to other collections or museums each year)
• Invitations to any special American DPG events in the US and the UK;
• Complimentary copy of the DVD Sir John Soane: An English Architect An American Legacy. 

$450 per annum

REMBRANDT CIRCLE
All the benefits of the Gainsborough Circle plus:

• Opportunity to entertain up to ten guests in London with a private Curator-led tour of the Gallery;
• Complimentary copy of the catalogue Rembrandt to Gainsborough, which explores the highlights of Dulwich Picture Gallery’s collection;
• Behind-the-scenes access when you and your group visit the Gallery, including a special visit to the store (if available). 

$1,000 per annum 
Benefits valued at $170

FOUNDLING BENEFACTOR
All benefits of the Desenfans Circle plus:

• Opportunity to host a private event in the UK with the Director as speaker or in the US when Director visits (subject to availability);
• Credit in American Friends materials as Founding Benefactor;
• Complimentary copy of Dulwich Picture Gallery’s Complete Illustrated Catalogue;
• Priority treatment for all American Friends activities.

The Founding Benefactors will be a limited group.
