The Gallery Gardens
The Gallery gardens were once swamp land surrounding Dulwich
Village. Now they are mainly laid to lawn but with
many unusual specimens of trees planted in the last 200
years. The gardens are used by local villagers as a peaceful
place to sit, school children as part of their art lessons,
open-air film, wedding marquees, Dulwich Players amateur dramatics,
Friends events, Opera in the Garden and many
more open-air events. Find out more about the
gallery gardens
and its trees.
The Gallery garden is also part of the London Open Squares
Weekend.
