...and the winner is....Jonathan Burton
Entrants to the competition were invited to create
their own 'self-portrait' using the same method as
the artists whose work featured
in the What Are You Like?
exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery, curated by the House
of Illustration.
Artists were encouraged to create a portrait which revealed
their personality rather than replicate their physical appearance
- by selecting a group of their favourite things from weather
to food to pet aversion.

Jonathan Burton has been working as an
illustrator for the last 10 years, since graduating from Kingston
University with an MA. He has illustrated for the
BBC and Saatchi & Saatchi and
his work has appeared in many publications including The
Times and New Scientist. You can find
