You can find the Gallery in leafy Dulwich Village in South East London. You could be forgiven to think that it looks a long way out of London, but is only 10 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria and 30 minutes by car from Westminster. Numerous buses from central London, South West London and southern areas eg Penge and Croydon stop near the Gallery and the P4 stops right outside the café.

For directions to the gallery - see Getting to us

Parking is free along Gallery Road and some parts of College Road and there is special parking for disabled visitors right next to the main entrance door.
If you require a wheelchair please ring to book one on 0208 693 5254 or email the Operations   Department.
• If the Dulwich Picture Gallery Café is full or you want something else to choose from, the village boasts many places to eat such as Pizza Express, Café Rouge, Le Piaf, Romeo Jones and our own village pub, The Crown and Greyhound.

After your visit, why not go for a walk around our peaceful gardens and see the unusual specimen trees and then pop over the road and enjoy a lovely long walk round the famous Dulwich Park which has recently been supported by a Lottery grant .  It has been newly landscaped, planted with lovely shrubs and with a new pond so you can watch the ducks while you have an ice cream .

• If you are a group of 10 or more, you will be eligible for a discount , you may want a special guided tour or a lecture on the temporary exhibition, if so, please read Group Visits.
The Gallery Shop is open when the Gallery is open to the public
• Tuesdays afternoons you can also visit the Christ's Chapel of God's Gift.
