Conrad Shawcross: Counterpoint

Works relating to the Dulwich Park Commission

A display of works relating to Three Perpetual Chords, a series of cast iron sculptures by artist Conrad Shawcross in nearby Dulwich Park. The work is newly comissioned by Southwark Council.

Dulwich Picture Gallery’s display will coincide with the unveiling of the work in the park and will present works that illustrate Shawcross’s creative process and his ongoing study of light and harmonics. The display will include a large-scale ‘lightwork’ installation in the Gallery’s mausoleum and studies of Three Perpetual Chords.

To celebrate the launch of the sculpture in the park the Permanent Collection will be free of charge to all visitors on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.

Entry included in your ticket to the Permanent Collection.
