Hosted at Dulwich Picture Gallery, the InTown Lecture Series introduces major exhibitions in other London galleries.

Alan Read guides us through the most comprehensive exhibition yet devoted to the paper cut-outs of Matisse. Around 120 works, many of which are together for the first time in a ground-breaking reassessment of the final works of this most important modern painter, will include Tate’sThe Snail 1953, its companion Memory of Oceania 1953 (MoMA, New York) and the 33 foot-long Large Composition with Masks 1953 (National Gallery of Art, Washington).
