Modern and Contemporary Printmaking, c.1937 to the Present Day
This course will examine the history of British printmaking from the inter-war period to the modern day. Explore modern and contemporary printmaking first-hand, and learn how the development of British printmaking established a market for affordable art collecting, which ultimately led to the print publishing boom of the 1960s.
Saturdays, 3, 10 and 17 October. With print curator Julia Beaumont–Jones.
Saturday 3 October: Participants will meet at Tate at 10.30am. Please meet at the bottom of the steps at the main entrance located on Milbank.
