One of the most distinctive British artists of the 20th century, Paul Nash’s paintings show surreal and mystical sides of English landscapes. This exhibition will feature a lifetime’s work, from his earliest drawings to the iconic war paintings, and Jessica Saraga tells how it reveals Nash’s importance to British modern art in this very significant show of his work.

The exhibition at Tate Britain runs from 26 October to 5 March 2017
