Please note there will be a small number of spare mats available at each session, however it is advised that you bring your own along with equipment necessary to your practice.

About Michele

Michele is a Dulwich local, who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. It's safe to say her students love her, and we're very excited to welcome here to the Gallery.

I live in Herne hill in the same house we bought when I moved to this country in 1991 3. Although I practiced yoga before I became pregnant, pregnancy yoga deepened my appreciation to yoga and inspired me to train as a teacher 4. I studied journalism at university 5. I am half Italian and half Ukrainian 6. I met my British husband when he attended a conference in Pittsburgh chaired by Prince Charles 7. I met Prince Charles too! 8. My first job in London was in the press office at ChildLine working for Esther Rantzen 9. I teach 10 classes a week And cover classes all over London including at TriYoga and The Life Centre 10. I have three children, one born in hospital and two at home 11. My husband caught our middle child as we weren't expecting her early arrival, beating the midwife by 30 minutes 12. I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA USA 13. I am by birth a Steeler fan 14. I registered my yoga business Michelemyoga as a limited company this year whoop! 15. Chocolate is my downfall 16. So is wine 17. And cake 18. I am a mentored doula and have supported two women so far, one hospital birth and one home birth 19. So what is the Dulwich Pavilion...?

We're very excited to be hosting some of our yoga sessions within our first ever Dulwich Pavilion! The temporary structure, designed by emerging local architects, If_DO, will host a series of events and Lates throughout the summer, as we celebrate 200 years since we first opened to the public.

Getting here

An easy journey from central London in 15 minutes by train and a short walk. The Gallery sits in the heart of Dulwich Village between Brixton and Peckham.
