The Bethlem Museum of the Mind
The Bethlem Museum of the Mind records experiences and achievements of people with mental health problems. The tour includes the history of the Bethlem Hospital, founded in 1247, the museum, and a walk round the landscaped grounds. Meet at 11.00am at the main entrance of the museum.
Getting there: The museum is on Monks Orchard Road, postcode BR3 3BX. There is limited parking on site and the surrounding streets. The nearest station is Eden Park (15 min walk). The 356 bus (towards Shirley) stops outside the entrance.
