The Wallace Collection was established in 1897 from the private collection of the 4th Marquess of Hertford. He left the house and collection to his illegitimate son and his widow bequeathed the entire collection to the nation. Displays of unsurpassed French 18th century paintings, furniture and porcelain, together with Old Masters, are on display in 25 galleries in this historic town house. Our private tour will be of the collection’s highlights, after which you are free to explore this worldrenowned museum.
