Explore our Sohlberg range this spring

Inspired by the evocative paintings of Harald Sohlberg, and the landscapes and folk culture of his native Norway, our new range of homeware, accessories and gifts has been carefully curated by our team in collaboration with hand-picked designers, to create unique products for you to take home.

Here we round up some highlights from the range to help you ring in spring, whether you want to add a touch of Scandi chic to your home or find the perfect Mother’s Day gift. Please note, if you'd like your gift to reach mum in time, please pop into the shop!

Mothers' Day in style

This scarf has a lot to boast about. Not only is it 100% silk with a rolled edge, it also features a beautiful reproduction of Norway’s favourite painting, Sohlberg’s Winter Night in the Mountains (1914). Made in the UK by Beckford Silk exclusively for Dulwich Picture Gallery, this snowy mountain scene on pure silk is perfect for those spring breezes.

Art-inspired jewellery

My Doris search across the world for unique, beautifully made jewellery. For this range of earrings, pendants and rings they took inspiration from the natural elements and mountain forms of Sohlberg’s Winter Night in the Mountains. Featuring 22ct gold-plated brass and semi-precious rough-cut stones, they’ll add Nordic style to any outfit.

A Summer Night tray for spring evenings

Bring a work of art to teatime - or cocktail hour! Made in Sweden with responsibly sourced wood, this tray features Harald Sohlberg’s painting Summer Night, depicting an al fresco summer supper. A perfect accompaniment for the sunny months ahead.

Do good with your morning coffee

If Sohlberg’s beautiful depictions of the Norwegian wilds have inspired you to be more environmentally conscious, you can make a start by switching out your disposable coffee cups for a SoL Cup. These beautiful reusable cups are made from durable, lightweight glass and are 100% chemical free.

Hygge for your home

Add a touch of Nordic style to your surroundings with a range of products from London-based illustrator and founder of Indi Skoven Prints, Elizabeth Rider. Inspired by the aesthetic traditions that Sohlberg would have been familiar with, these tea towels, greetings cards and prints celebrate the mythical elements of Nordic forests. Each design features a centrepiece inspired by rosemåling, a decorative art that originated in Norway - so they’re also a great way of showing off your folk art knowledge!
