An enduring storyteller; a master of light – Rembrandt is one of the greatest painters who ever lived. This landmark exhibition celebrated 350 years since his death with 35 of his iconic paintings, etchings and drawings, including major international loans from The Louvre and Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum.

Curated by Jennifer Scott, Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery, and Helen Hillyard, the Curator, this show featured a special collaboration with the renowned cinematographer Peter Suchitzsky, who was enlisted to create a special lighting arrangement for the exhibition. Using Erco lighting allowed Suschitzky to illuminate 35 of the Dutch master’s works in unique ways, underscoring light as both subject and medium.
