Free Workshops for 11-18yrs
OFF THE WALL
Free workshops for all young people aged 11 – 18yrs.
Monthly on a Saturday 2 – 4pm
“I don’t know what I like yet… so I like being shown what art can be”
Off the Wall invites you to try new things, meet new people and open your mind. Each month we try new techniques and explore new genres of art, working with a professional artist in our art studio. We have explored themes ranging from protest and conceptual art to journal making and architectural design.
The workshops take their inspiration from the Gallery, whether it’s the Permanent Collection and temporary exhibitions or wider celebrations such as the 2017 bicentenary marking 200 years of art for the public. You don’t need to be good at art, this is about your views and being open to trying something new. So join us to discuss, debate and have your say!
