The Gallery sits in the heart of Dulwich Village between Brixton and Peckham. Our entrances are on College Road and Gallery Road, SE21 7AD.

By National Rail

You can easily reach us via National Rail, from London Victoria to West Dulwich or London Bridge to North Dulwich. Trains leave around every 15 minutes. Both stations are a 10 minute walk from the Gallery.

London Underground

Take the Victoria Line to Brixton.
From Brixton, take the P4 Bus (bus stop T), alighting at 'Dulwich Picture Gallery' or the National Rail Train from Brixton to West Dulwich.

London Overground

Take the London Overground to Peckham Rye. Then the National Rail train or 37 bus (bus stop N) from Peckham Rye station to ‘North Dulwich Station’.

Car

Free parking spaces are available on Gallery Road and College road. There is also paid parking in nearby Dulwich Park, just opposite our College Road entrance.

Free accessible parking is available on Gallery Road for Blue Badge holders.

Dulwich Village is a Low Traffic Neighbourhood, with traffic restrictions at certain times of the day, Monday to Friday. Please plan your travel accordingly and visit the Southwark Council website to ensure you are aware of restrictions.

Bus

P4 to College Road outside the Gallery café (from Lewisham bus stop C or from Brixton bus stop T). Alight at ‘Dulwich Picture Gallery’.

3 to West Dulwich Station (from Crystal Palace bus station bus stop D or from Oxford Street bus stop RF). Alight at ‘Croxted Road/Thurlow Park Road’

37 to North Dulwich Station (from Peckham Rye bus stop N or from Putney bus stop F). Alight at ‘North Dulwich Station'.

P13 to Dulwich College (New Cross to Streatham). Alight at ‘Dulwich College’.

We welcome group bookings for adult groups of 10 or more.

Gallery admission: £16.50 per person
Gallery admission and a temporary exhibition or Collection tour (subject to availability): £26.50 per person

Free things to do

You're welcome to explore our Sculpture Garden and grounds for free. Our events programme includes us a number of free events, including Art Sundays sessions for families and Lates where you can explore our collection, watch live music and take part in art workshops.

Exchanges and Refunds

If you are no longer able to visit, please contact us on enquiries@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk at least 24 hours ahead of your visit and we will do our best to exchange or refund your tickets.

The Gallery is fully accessible.

There is level access to enter the Gallery via the main entrance from College Road and to exit via the shop onto Gallery Road. Learn more about our facilities and our accessibility.

FAQs

Are you open on Bank Holidays?

The Gallery is open across all Bank Holidays, and for much of the Christmas period. Check this page for the latest seasonal opening hours.

What does my ticket give me access to?

Exhibition tickets give you access to exhibitions, our collection and displays. Collection tickets allow you to see the collection and displays.

Where is my e-ticket?

If you booked online and can't find your e-ticket, please check your junk mail folder. The email should be labelled 'Your tickets' and will be sent from orders@mydulwichpicturegallery.org.uk.

If you are unable to retrieve your e-tickets you can collect your tickets on arrival from the ticket desk - just bring your booking reference number with you.

Do you offer guided tours or talks?

Yes. We host regular tours and curator talks — check our What’s On page for schedules.

What else is there to do in Dulwich?

Nearby Dulwich Village is full of restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops to explore. Dulwich Park is just opposite our gates, with 76 acres full of gardens, bike rentals,a boating lake, and sporting facilities.

Can the Gallery be hired for special events?

Is photography allowed in the Gallery?

Photography in the Gallery is allowed for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Press image requests can be made via this page, and you can contact our venue hire team about filming requests.
