Step inside Christ’s Chapel, a beautiful historic building dating back to 1616, located beside the Gallery Cloister. The Chapel is the final resting place of Edward Alleyn, founder of Alleyn’s College of God’s Gift, and is home to a fascinating collection of art, impressive woodcarvings and a historic organ dating from 1760.
Visitors are welcome every Wednesday from 2–3.30pm, when volunteer guides are on hand to share the Chapel’s history and answer any questions.
