Art Sundays (Online)

Get inspired to make art at home with your family in these free online craft activities led by artist Francesca Centioni-Dene. 

Entertain your kids as they explore making different artworks inspired by nature and plants, celebrating our Unearthed: Photography's Roots exhibition. 

There will be a new Art Sundays activity to explore every month in spring, posted on our Youtube channel on the last Sunday of the monthThese activities are aimed at 7–12 year-olds and their families, but all ages are welcome. You will need to source some basic arts and craft supplies, such as paper, pens and glue - full details will be listed on this page in due course, and emailed to all ticket-holders 48 hours in advance of the session. Please note, if you do not receive the link and materials info, you can find all this information on our Youtube channel.

The next Art Sundays session will be available to watch below from this Sunday, 30 May at 2pm. 

Here's the material list for this session:

  • 1 x strip of black card, 9cm height x 42cm width (for the wall of the zoetrope)
  • 1 x black A4 card, approx.; circle 13cm diameter (base of zoetrope)
  • 2-3 Strips of white paper, 5cm height x 42cm width (for drawings)
  • 2 x Small off cut of cardboard, 3x3cm square (from delivery box)
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Black tape or Tape
  • Glue stick
  • Pencil
  • Pens
  • 1 x Paper straw
