Under 5s Explore: Mini Masterpieces
Join this exploratory session for under 5s. Taking place on the last Thursday of every month, each session begins with a journey through the Gallery to discover all the different people, places, and animals in the Gallery’s paintings, followed by an art-making activity.
Spark your child’s imagination through playful painting that stimulates your child’s development and curiosity. Our themes change monthly to keep your little creatives engaged and open them up to new ways of playing.
Recommended booking by age:
6-24 months: 10-11am
24 months-Under 5’s: 11.30-12.30pm
2 adults maximum per child
Top tips:
- We recommend that you dress your children for messy play or bring a change of clothes. We do provide wet wipes and have toilets nearby to help clean up you little creative at the end of the workshop.
- All the materials are non-toxic and safe to put in mouths. Our ‘baby paint’ is made from cornflour, water and food colouring. Please do get in touch with us in advance if your baby has any allergies and we will provide an alternative.

Keeping everyone safe
