Get ready for a fun and friendly drawing class where we’ll meet some very special dogs who look just like real wolves! These amazing animals are called British lupine dogs – they have a little bit of wolf in their family tree, but they’re calm, gentle, and love cuddles just as much as they love howling at the moon!
In this exciting session, we’ll be joined by Natalie Lagstrom, a canine behaviour expert and the “head of the pack.” She’ll introduce us to these beautiful animals and tell us all about their behaviour, how they communicate, and how wolves live in the wild around the world.
After meeting the dogs, we’ll spend time sketching them with help from Laura, our resident wildlife artist. We’ll learn how to draw their amazing fur, eyes, paws and tails – and you can use any style you like! We'll have plenty of colours and art materials for you to experiment with.
We’ll also learn some cool facts about real wolves, how they help nature, and what people are doing to protect them in places like Yellowstone National Park.
At the end of the session, there’ll be time to give the dogs a gentle stroke or cuddle if you’d like to!
