An informal promenade through the grounds and Gallery with Projects Office, to explore Sir John Soane’s architectural innovations, and draw on his mastery of light, colour and space to suggest ways in which his neoclassical artistry could be applied to make your own home a work of art. We’ll end the tour at our model for the proposed pavilion, to show how Soane’s work and Dulwich Picture Gallery have driven our architectural design.
Architects Dingle Price and Alex Gore, and designer Yinka Ilori will explain the ideas and design process behind their collaborative design for the 2019 Dulwich Pavilion. As well as a slideshow of sketches, computer animations, and reference imagery, the designers will also be bringing a number of their design models.
