Science fiction and fantasy have long influenced the wider world of art and design. Beginning with the enchanting artists of the Aesthetic and Decadent period, and using rare and unseen material from the V&A’s collections, this talk will look at book covers, graphic illustration, furniture and fashion design, culminating in the late 20th century textile designs of Eddie Squires.
