Programme

Live performance with a person sat in a chair being pulled backwards by a person standing behind via some material

FISHNETS, Bold Mellon Collective

Bold Mellon Collective’s latest performance, FISHNETS, is about clumsily reclaiming bliss from binarily sanctioned shapes and loving every part.

Weaving together poetry, live music and dance. FISHNETS sees Annie and Emilia tangling and unravelling as they navigate romance, intimacy, pleasures, and pressures as a trans and migrant couple dreams of borderless futures.

Collage with Touch Grass CIC

Join Toni Murphy, founder of Touch Grass CIC, for a relaxed, beginner-friendly collage session inspired by the themes of home, family, light, and connection. You’ll create an A5 collage postcard that tells a piece of your story, whether that’s a real home, a chosen family moment, or a kind of light that has held you.

This is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ community members to create at their own pace, chat (or not), and leave with a small artwork to keep or share.

5 people sat in a row at a table with their eyes closed.

Tell your story with Imale Ndhlovu

LGBTQ+ Community Centre's Imale Ndhlovu invites you to claim your sovereignty and tell your own story. Through a blend of guided meditation, reflective sit-ins and creative responses you will dive into:

Sitter & Painter: How the act of observing art changes both the viewer and the viewed.

Symbolism & Queer Coding: Reclaiming validity by reading between the lines of historical works.

Representation & Resilience: Acknowledging whose stories are prioritised and finishing with a celebration of Queer Joy.
