Facilities
All areas of the Gallery are on one level. Please note, however, that neither West Dulwich nor North Dulwich railway stations have step-free access.
Four disabled parking bays are available on Gallery Road. More disabled spaces are available in nearby Dulwich Park, just opposite our entrance on College Road. Parking is free for Blue Badge holders.
Public toilets, including an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities, are located in the corner of the glass cloister next to the Linbury Room. More facilities are located just outside the cloisters, near our shop, and in the ArtPlay Pavilion.
Folding portable stools are available in the Gallery, please ask a member of staff for assistance. Wooden benches are situated throughout the Gallery and grounds.
The Gallery has wheelchairs available for visitors to borrow during your visit. To book a wheelchair in advance of your visit please contact us by emailing enquiries@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk
If you are purchasing a concession ticket as a disabled visitor, you are entitled to a free companion ticket.
An induction loop operates in the Linbury Room, Art Studio, Admissions Hall and Gallery shop.
Large print guides
We have large print guides for our exhibitions. You can pick one up from the first room of the exhibition.
Sensory backpacks
Developed with local families, we have free sensory backpacks which include sensory objects and noise cancelling headphones for kids to enjoy. There are only a small number so we advise booking one of these in advance by emailing enquiries@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk

It is typically quieter at the Gallery during weekday between 10 – 11am and 3 – 5pm
We welcome guide, hearing and assistance dogs in all areas of the Gallery. Water bowls are available on request from the Gallery Café.
If you have particular needs in the event of emergency evacuation please inform staff at the ticket desk when you arrive.

Led by one of our dementia friendly guides, you can take a closer look at paintings from our collection or exhibition and share your opinions, stories and impressions.

Free lockers are available in the main entrance as you enter the ticket hall. In order to preserve the collection backpacks and suitcases are not permitted in the Gallery.
