Inigo Jones’ architectural masterpiece, having had major renovations, has spectacular rooms filled with great art including the iconic Armada Portrait of Queen Elizabeth I.  Queen’s House, a former royal residence built between 1616 –1635, is one of the most important buildings in British architectural history, being both Grade I listed and a scheduled ancient monument. The house now forms part of the National Maritime Museum, and displays parts of their substantial collection of maritime paintings and portraits.
