Caravaggio is one of the most iconic and immediately recognisable names in art. His use of live models, dramatic lighting and powerful storytelling revolutionised European painting. This talk explores Caravaggio’s legacy through the work of those in his immediate circle, those who encountered his work in Italy, and those who absorbed his lessons more distantly.
