The Sting (1973)
Following the murder of a friend, con man Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) teams up with seasoned pro Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) to take revenge on ruthless crime boss Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw). Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, but things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation from the duo.
Directed by George Roy Hill, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
