BSL Talk: Berthe Morisot Shaping Impressionism
This BSL talk led by John Wilson will look at highlights from our Berthe Morisot: Shaping Impressionism exhibition.
Berthe Morisot was a founding member of the Impressionist group, known for her swiftly painted glimpses of contemporary life and intimate domestic scenes. She featured prominently in the Impressionist exhibitions and defied social norms to become one of the movement’s most influential figures. In partnership with the Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris, this exhibition will bring together around 30 of Morisot’s most important works from international collections to reveal the artist as a trailblazer of the Impressionist movement.
This talk is for deaf and hard-of-hearing British Sign Language users – it will be delivered in BSL and does not include a voiceover.
You will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition independently following the talk.
