Family Friday: Expressive Art
Join artist Crystal Fischetti for this free workshop exploring abstract art with a therapeutic twist. Learn about Crystal's art practice which involves large-scale abstract paintings on bed sheets, inspired by art therapy, and explore how you can get creative as a family whilst expressing your emotional worlds.
The workshop will take inspiration from our Helen Frankenthaler: Radical Beauty exhibition, and will focus on new art-making ideas, materials and possibilities. Delve into the world of abstract art, express yourself and create your own experimental artworks.
These activities are aimed at 7–12-year-olds and their families, but siblings and families of all ages are welcome.
No experience is needed, just come along, and join in!
All materials are included.
Crystal works with found materials and so encourages you to bring along any materials you have to hand at home that you would like to use in your art making during the booked workshop
