Lord Christoper Patten, Chancellor of the University of Oxford, former Chairman of the BBC Trust, will be speaking about the future of the press.

Placing a heavy focus upon the changing media consumption trends as former media adviser to Pope Francis, Lord Patten examines attitudes towards the press, beginning to speculate on how generations from now might consider the shifting focus placed upon public affairs, bearing in mind the plurality of outlets and the influence of the internet.

Specialising in Lord Christopher Patten has a long experience in broadcasting and its involvement in propaganda and policy that will shed a spotlight on how things might look to generations of the future.
