Florence and the Machine perform at Dulwich's inaugural summer party

On 13 June, Jennifer Scott, Sackler Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery, hosted our inaugural Summer Party. The evening celebrated 200 years since we first opened our doors to the public in 1817 and our first Dulwich Pavilion which is open to explore and enjoy until 8 October 2017.

Local to the area and a strong affiliation to the gallery, Florence & the Machine made a very rare appearance, performing an intimate set list inspired by some of her favourite artists and their work. Songs performed included Dog Days Are Over and Ship to Wreck. Our very own Natalie Bouloudis started the evening with a dreamy folk-inspired performance and music was also provided by DJ Lou Hayter.

Guests included a mix of key names from the arts, fashion, music and design world’s including: Laura Bailey, Susie Cave, Nicole Farhi, Ron Arad, Edmund De Waal, Sir Terence Conran and Conrad Shawcross.
