The world's longest landscape in just one minute!
As part of The Big Draw festival, Dulwich Picture Gallery attempted to set the record for the world's longest landscape. Drawers of all ages and a group of renowned illustrators joined the event, contributing to the seemingly never-ending paper roll with their own personal landscapes. In just three days, the participants managed to create a drawing measuring 294 metres - nearly six times the length of the Gallery!
Check out our timelapse video above to see how our mixed media masterpiece came into being.
You can view sections of the completed work that are on display in the Gallery's Linbury Room. As this is a main space for our events and workshops, please note that viewing times are variable.
